Matter Party Participation Terms

The Legal Intelligence Lab ("Legal Intelligence Lab") is a structured introduction and information facilitation platform designed to help individuals and businesses with legal matters connect with experienced law firms for evaluation and potential representation.
The Legal Intelligence Lab does not provide legal advice or legal representation.
2.1 The Legal Intelligence Lab is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
2.2 All legal decisions, including whether to retain counsel, are made independently by the matter party and any law firm they choose to engage.
3.1 Matter parties may submit information regarding their legal matter for evaluation and potential introduction to law firms.
3.2 Matter parties confirm all information is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
3.3 The Legal Intelligence Lab may organize submitted information into a Matter Intelligence File for law firm review.
4.1 The MIF is a curated, non-privileged collection of factual information and materials organized for law firm evaluation purposes.
4.2 The MIF is not legal advice and does not include legal opinions regarding outcome or merit.
5.1 The Legal Intelligence Lab may facilitate introductions between the matter party and up to three (3) participating law firms.
5.2 All law firms are independent third parties.
5.3 No guarantee is made that any law firm will accept or offer representation.
6.1 The matter party independently selects any law firm they choose.
6.2 The Legal Intelligence Lab does not influence or control selection.
7.1 Any legal representation is strictly between the matter party and the selected law firm.
7.2 The Legal Intelligence Lab is not a party to any legal services agreement.
8.1 The Legal Intelligence Lab does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation.
8.2 No attorney-client, fiduciary, or advisory relationship exists between the matter party and the Legal Intelligence Lab.
8.3 The Legal Intelligence Lab's role is limited to facilitating structured introductions and organizing non-privileged information for law firm evaluation.
9.1 If a matter party selects a law firm for representation, the selected law firm may be responsible for payment of a fixed Engagement Facilitation Fee ("EFF") to the Legal Intelligence Lab.
9.2 The EFF is not paid by the matter party and does not affect access to legal representation.
9.3 Payment of the EFF is a contractual matter between the Legal Intelligence Lab and participating law firms only.
The Legal Intelligence Lab does not guarantee:
Information is used solely for facilitating potential introductions to law firms and will be handled with reasonable confidentiality safeguards.
The Legal Intelligence Lab is not liable for decisions, actions, or outcomes involving law firms or matter parties.
By submitting information or participating in the process, the matter party agrees to these Terms.
